Very nice pic though. I should have explained a little more, this is my and my wife's wedding rings, so it is for us, and fortunately we both love photography

Dec 11, 2008 15:26 | #8 what lens did you use to shoot this? I have a hard time getting my rings completely in focus and sharp. Is there a special technique I'm missing? Thanks! Canon 1D MIV (Sue Bryce's), Canon 50mm f/1.2L, Canon 24mm f/1.4L, Canon 135mm f/2L. Canon 100mm macro f/2.8, 2 580exII, 2 Sunpak 383.

Is there a special technique I'm missing? Thanks! I used the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro (set at either f/2.8 or f/3.5 - I think it was f/3.5). I bumped the contrast +1 or +2 in DPP. I think the only sharpening was when I resized it in photoshop using the bicubic sharper method.
