Ok, I am wondering if anyone knows of a good place to rent an underwater housing for my Canon 40D. I only need it for about 10 days and I am wondering if anyone can help me out.

Any advice, suggestions or experiences you would like to share would be great! Thanks!

John, can't you just rent the underwater cam? You want to risk your cam to a grain of sand on a $3 gasket on someone elses UW case?

I have read that there are some camera shops that rent underwater gear in areas that you are likely to go diving. ie. florida keys. However I am not sure if they will ship gear out.

Otherwise I would suggest contacting a housing manufacturer for infomation about rentals. I have seen good reviews on Aqua tech as a brand. This (external link) is the particular housing that I would suggest.

Also I would suggest visiting www.wetpixel.com (external link) for additional information.

You might want to start your homework in the UNDERWATER section of Scubaboard
www.scubaboard.com (external link)
or at Wetpixel, which I had a much harder time getting accepted as a member (time wise) which may have been fixed as they were undergoing software updates.
