Im a bit of a backup psycho. I have my photos on a local drive for speed with editing ect. I then back this up to my NAS (QNAP TS509 link at bottom). The NAS has a USB drive connected too which it automaticaly backs up my photos to every night.

I have lost photos before so now im ultra paranoid with 3 copies of my data.

Currently,

I have all my photos on an External Drive, which I copy all the photos into another External Drive, so in any given time there are 2 copies of each photo...

Every month I go and search for the best of the best (worth keeping photos) and those get burned on a DVD one I mail out and the other in another location with me...
