Hi,
I have become increasingly involved with 360 VR Panoramas (QTVR), and want to be able to share them with friends and perhaps expand later into some commercial work. Consequently, I need to develop a website and choose a hosting service. I would want it to display mixed media and to have the ability to add or remove images and panos from home (I wont be doing the design/development myself as I currently know nothing about it).

Consequently, I was looking for recommendations not only on how to proceed, but on what applications and services I should be looking into? Any thoughts or ideas are most welcome!

Free JAlbum.net - Will build excellent galleries & now has free hosting, too. A few skins incorporate shopping cart features & some of those aren't free.

Example skins - JAlbum skins seem easy to modify & there's a lot of help in their forums. Some subforums are dedicated to only one skin, which makes it easier to get info.

Purplenova now allows JAlbum and Picasa photo album hosting directly from the desktop. Take a look at http://www.purplenova.com/index.html (external link)
