I like them Kyle good work! To me the team font is a little difficult to read, but maybe that's simply because it's compressed for display here. Plus if it's just going to be posted at school and in the immediate area, it doesn't really matter as people will know what team it is. Do you think the team font should be highlighted in white? Or is yellow one of the team colors? Thanks for sharing these - they keep getting better each time.

Tom

Some parents will be mad that their kid is not on the poster.

Thanks Tom,

Well, the colors are Green and Gold, I do not think I got the gold down very well. Yes, the font is kind of hard to read, tried to get that "look" but may have used the wrong font.

Yes some parents may get mad... I thought about that but since I did this for free, I guess they can get mad. I guess if they want their kid on the schedule, they can order one... Do I sound disgruntled?

I looked at putting more kids on the schedule but it got too busy.

Thanks for the response.

Kyle.

I like the layout. My only nitpick is that I think there are too many different shades of green in there. Looks like the font, the uniforms and the border are all different. I think it might look better if they were one shade.

Good point, I will change that.

Thanks...

What is the most important info on the poster - for me, it is the schedule. If I were a team parent, I would love to know when and where the games are going to be. I wouldn't worry too much about the scores right now. In fact, you can always put the scores on an end of season poster.

What does the poster look like if you remove the player on the far right of the poster? The schedule would stand out on its own and it would be much easier to read.

I like consistency when specific info is on a poster so I'd look at the way that you have the days of the week written. Some are single letters (e.g. M), some are three letters, (e.g. MON). In fact, do you need the days of the week listed at all?

If you set up your tabs to create columns then you could also have your info line up under a heading. Something like this

DATE OPPONENT LOCATION TIME

Thanks for the feedback, all good points. On the schedule, I put exactly what the coach ask for... He wrote it out and asked for it this way. I do agree though that even if he gave me the info, I could have changed it. I will play around with the player locations to see what looks good.

Thanks again for the feedback, it is truly appreciated.

Kyle.
