They just mean you cant send it back unless its defective (I didnt like it) and if it is defective they will replace it but no refunds.
Ive bought from them before with out any problems.

Nevermind.......now they are out of stock?

Oh ok, that makes sense.

Back to the OP. I think moving from a XT to a 30D is a pretty decent upgrade. I moved from a XTi to a 20D (for like a week) then found a 30D for real cheap after the cashback. The 30D feels so much better in my hands, easier to control, focus seems more accurate and faster than the XTi.

yeh i think the 40d would seem like more of an upgrade..i really want that 14 bit depth for recovering stuff better in photoshop and lightroom..also having a betterviewfinder would really be worth it
