The hospital I work for is some kind of Microsoft "partner". I forget what the exact name of the deal is. Anyway, I get Microsoft's employee discount for their software and hardware. I recently wanted to buy Streets & Trips 2009, so I used my login code to access their online store for employees. All they had available was the 2008 version. I ended up finding 2009 at Amazon -- for $10 less than Microsoft wanted for the 2008 one after deducting my so-called employee "discount".

Microsoft used to offer a decent employee discount...somewhere around 2003 it seemed to evaporate. Most MS software became cheaper to buy at Sam's Club than online. I think I paid $50 for the full version of Office 97 Professional. Definitely don't see pricing like that these days.

Hi Jim :D I do love your Tshirt, lol! I have been trying to get my hands on that movie for two weeks now  I am sure there is a conspiracy afoot.

Hi Terri, thanks. I think I will curl up on the sofa and watch it tonight. I am staying out of the bedroom as Lisa has my cold big time. It really hit her yesterday giving us both a lousy sleep last night. She did not even come out to partake in the festivities today, and was sleeping when I got in a bit ago, so I will let her rest and I will get a better sleep on the futon. :D

GA! Sorry Lisa is sick. I have been fighting back a nasty bug since Monday :-| Nasty cough and achy. I *hate* being sick  Can't remember the last time I had more than the case of the sniffles.

Don't get whatever it was that I have been fighting the past two weeks....today is the first day I felt close to being human again. Even so, I still found myself needing several naps to make it through the day.
