Evening Folks!! How was everyone's day? Mine is just slowing down...played with some new video games and visited with my mom....then watched to movies. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a very funny movie!

I showed Leyla the Christmas eve tunes she was cracking up. Your good Dano. You ought to submit some to the New Yorker.
I concur!

Leyla's first response after laughing was "he could make a lot of money. He should send those to the New Yorker. You know I am your total fan boy but honestly you are as good and better than anything out there. Really talented professional toonage.
I concur!

Dan's comic strips are way better than a lot of the ones in our local paper...
I concur!

Ah, Christmas. It means so many things to each of us. Snippets of memories that are hanging on the refrigerators of our minds. {SNIP}
Thanks for putting another cherished photo on the fridge of my brain.
Merry Christmas.
That was great Dan....I can recall certain years like that too.
Lovely shot of you and Leyla Zane.....really like the Charlie Brown Christmas tree!
Love the TR Christmas card and how Kona squeezed his name in there.

GAAAaaa...when did twisty ties become the packaging norm?
I SO know what you mean.....there were like a couple hundred on the NERF gun alone.

If I'm wrong, so be it, but I love this picture Curt took today...
That was a funny photo of Aiden...we happened to go there yesterday and I ate my left overs for dinner a couple hours ago.

Quietly sitting in the office, perusing the various comments on thread as the house slowly spools down for another night. Dog's under the desk, contentedly gnawing on...
GAAA! NO! That's my.... Let go! Kona, NO! That's my BOOK! GAAA!
So how did the book fare?

Becky...the hooters pic...hilarious. Reminds me of Corey and my Aidan reading Playboy together.
Do share the picture...if it's censored for this thread.

We had a similar Christmas. There is an absolutely lovely family here who does a lot of work for us. They support a number of people both here and in Mexico, and they work very, very hard. We sent a bunch of things over to them a couple months ago, and told them to keep whatever they wanted. The remainder was sold at a garage sale with the understanding we would split the proceeds. I think she generated about $1,200.00, so we told her to keep it all.
Very nice Chief.

This year we decided that instead of gifts to one another we as a family would go down to work in the shelter for a 4 four shift. My boys were a bit hesitant about the whole thing but all went well and they though that it was the best gift they had ever given. They are still talking about it and we went a few days ago.
That's fun family time....I've done that in the past before, once when I was in middle school.

Oh wait til you see my tree... It's a bit bigger than Zane & Leyla's tree.. but it has it's own Charlie Brown characteristics!
Looks like you got lots of goodies....so, did I miss the photo post of your tree somewhere?

I did get one gift I love. A little background, when we were in NYC a year ago and went to see Spamalot, Caitlin and I went and looked at the merchandise they were selling, there were shirts with all the great single lines from The Holy Grail, except my favourite, so I left empty handed. This is my new shirt that Caitlin gave to me.
Great shirt!

I thought that since Jim showed his new T-shirt, I'd show the ones Heather and I were given by one of the members of our club. I just threw them into the scanner, rather than take shots of us wearing them. Heather's at work...
Mine:
Heather's:
Appropriate, isn't it?
Those shirts are great too! I think I like yours most.

A bittersweet Christmas for the adults as another friend battling cancer passed last night. His 10 year old daughter turned to her grandmother and told her, "don't worry Nana, he's our Christmas Angel"
Sorry to hear that Crissa about your friend....gave me a smile.
great Christmas card!

Hi Terri, thanks. I think I will curl up on the sofa and watch it tonight. I am staying out of the bedroom as Lisa has my cold big time. It really hit her yesterday giving us both a lousy sleep last night. She did not even come out to partake in the festivities today, and was sleeping when I got in a bit ago, so I will let her rest and I will get a better sleep on the futon.
Hope Lisa feels better. Mari was sick yesterday too....and last night, she fell asleep just as soon as we got home.
