I've been reading through CS3 for dummies (page 51 now), but the damn book doesn't really explain how to do things in a sequential order, or very clearly for that matter. To say the least, I am less than impressed with it.

Has anyone found a really useful tutorial book, site, post, or video that was instrumental in helping build a solid CS3 foundation?

Try photoshopuser.com it does cost $99 a year but comes with a subscription to Photoshopusers magazine (well worth it just for that) but they have a downloadable 40-50 minute show every week with tons of tutorials and tips. You will not get better informed people plus there are discounts for almost everything photo and photoshop related as well as tons of freebies (brushes, actions etc etc) here's a referral link
