 I just sold it last week...it is gonna be replaced by a Sigma 24-60 f/2.8 with my other lenses I did not need the full range so I used the 28-135 to help by the 150-500 :D

Thanks for the comments on the pics...glad ya found them nice to look at. I still think people underrate this lens. It's a quite serviceable to often outstanding lens for us who take pictures because we like to look at them not the square pixels that make up the picture. ;)

How did you take that picture? Which bird were you focusing on? I'm disapointed with my lens, so I decided to order the Sigma as well.

Hah, thats what I ended up replacing mine with. Still kinda miss the reach on the 28-135, mostly because the 24-60 is currently my longest lens :(

I currently have the Sigma but I sold a couple of things and am about to order my new 40D but I can't decide if I want the 28-135 or just the body with a grip. I can't have both due to budget reasons (plus the wife will kill me if I spend more than I have in my paypal account). I know I can sell one of the lenses to fund a grip later but I just can't decide. I would love the extra reach and the USM and IS.
