Macro Capability of G10 vs G9 ?

Just wondering if the G10 is any better or worse than the G9 in macro mode?

my son shot this in macro mode a couple inches from my face. 100% crop G10 30.5 mm 1/500 @f4.5 iso 80

I need to start using wrinkle cream :confused:

I have two of the 250D and one 500D. I mix and match them to get the best effect for the conditons. I really just play around with them and dont take notes. Sometimes I wish I did.. LOL

I believe I just used a common incandescent lamp to light that one up. Depending on the combination of the lenses I can get farther away from the subject to provide better lighting. In fact now that I think about it, I may have possibly did a combo to get this shot with this lighting. I appologize for not being certain.
