We are coming to the end of 2008 so I figured I start this thread up for all you macro photographers to post your personal favorite macro photos taken in 2008. :D

Please keep it to 3 photos max! ;)

Here are my favorite top three Macro photos (to my eyes).

This photo was hard because these things are constantly moving real fast ;)

First time I caught a baby aphid connected to its mom. :cool:

very good mite shot - hard to get that much detail even when stationary for 0.5sec.

Thanks John - apologies for two things :rolleyes: firstly for posting 4 pics (I must have missed that sentence in your original post) and for not commenting on yours (fuzzy head due to one of the many colds circulating lol).

So without further a-do, I think your aphid birth is fantastic - these arent easy shots to take.

Thanks - yeah, I wasnt sure myself at first. Its not a shed skin, it was alive - I found it in the bottom of a hanging basket. I have seen their eggs before, but never this stage.
