I have never done one. I just got into photography
so Wedding photographers chime in on this one

What gears do you bring and should i be shooting with flash or keep it all natural?

I will post this before Tim does...read Tim's Wedding FAQ

From looking at your gear list you are going to need to rent some longer fast glass. The Tammy will help as I used mine quit a bit when I owned one. Read and study. Weddings are not easy. And yes if an indoor wedding you will need to bounce the flash if possible and if the chruch will allow it.

Best advice, do a shoot was a second shooter and you can learn so much.

If the light is right then "natural" can render some beautiful pictures. But that's assuming you completely understand the nuances of exposure and how subtle lighting differences will affect the final image. I almost always use flash - usually as the fill light in most of my shots, and sometimes as the main light if things are pretty dark.

But as Suzy wisely advises, do a shoot as a second shooter first. That experience will be worth it's weight in gold ;). - Stu

Study. Study. Study. Then, as others have stated, find a pro who will let you tag along.

Shooting a wedding is not easy. I had a friend talk me in to shooting his daughters. I knew nothing about posing. I knew nothing about being assertive. Not putting my foot down and allowing other to take pictures at the same time. So many shots ruined because of all the flash going off around me- not mention the people in the party looking in all different directions at the different cameras. Also brides are difficult whether friend or not they are a PITA! You need someone who can go in there and be assertive or you will be walked all over.

Tell this person that you would be happy to shadow another photographer but not do it solo.

I am by no means a pro... or anything close.
but I did take some pics at my friends wedding last week. The one
thing I didnt do, due to nerves, was take "lots" of group pics. I only
took 2 or so of each pose, and was left with lots of blinked eyes. So I'm
trying to PS the shots now. :(
IF your still doing the wedding, and are doing the group shots, then take LOTS!

And that's an important point - group photos and portraits is less about photography (it's alread assumed you know what you're doing from a technical viewpoint) and more about interacting with people..... crowd management, your interpersonal skills..... how to be a benevolent dictator.

You can be the best technician in the world, but if you don't know how to get along with people and pleasantly direct them, it will show up as inferior photography. You understand that, but many don't.
