I want to see if anyone is interested in attending the Shuttle Discovery launch (STS-119) on Feb 12th. Shuttle Launches at 7:30am. Tickets go on sale on Monday(12th of Jan) for close seating but are usually gone in 5 minutes... there are great places to shoot from that you only need to pay for parking. I went to Uni at UCF in Orlando and know a few good spots, I'm sure others have Favorites as well.
I figure we all show up early get setup, and watch what could be one of the last shuttle launches America could ever see, as we are moving back to rocket systems it seems. I'm hoping to bring my buddies 100-400 and rent or borrow a 1.4 for it as well. Afterwards if any one is interested theres a couple of cool areas at Kennedy Space center and the surrounding areas to take a bit of a tour ( old launch platforms, Everglades, old shuttles and rockets, etc.
