Keith, You have one impressive display of vintage warbirds there. I really enjoyed looking at them. :D
LOL on the guy with the HUGE White lens. I wonder what focal length that is?

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

You have some good shots there. I would have loved to been there. We don't get enough airshows in NZ..

anway I loved the shots, that you changed the colour off, it gives it a real age to them and you have done a great job.

Fantastic shots

I can never seem to get a series as sharp as that, despite using all the tips and techniques - Cf4-3 - panning practice - etc etc

Any particular techniques that you use ?

Regards

My technique?. . . Luck and good equipment. . . seriously, I started out using the Rebel and it was OK, b ut when I moved to the 20D made things easier. . much faster camera. And helps using a good lens. . . I use either my 100-400 or my 300f4L IS. The latter really shines shooting aircraft. . . As for panning. . .normally I shoot jets. . . so maybe that was what made shooting the prop warbirds easier. . . . but luck is a big factor in it. . . at least in my case. . . .thanks,

Love the B-17 shots, my uncle was a waist gunner on one and was shot down on thier 13th mission. He was a POW for 6 months. Wish he could see those pics, he would have loved them.

Um... Hi
