what umbrellas do ineed

I want to start doing some home portraits using my two flash guns 580ex and 430ex. I need some advice as to what type and size umbrellas i will need.

I dont want to use softboxes and dont want to purchase studio flash at the moment.

This is the kit i think i will need to purchase.

two tripods
Two some kind of brackets to hold flash and umbrellas
Two umbrellas dont know what size etc
backdrop and holder
cable to fire 580ex flash
reflectors

I will want to snap single portraits up to four [peaple.

Unless your subjects are always going to be laying on the floor or sitting in a very low chair, tripods are pretty much useless. You'll want lightstands so that the lights are slightly higher than the subjects head and tilted down towards the subject. With a tripod you'll more than likely get horror lighting which isn't very attractive.
