Very nicely done! I like the shadows, and wouldn't mind seeing a bit more of the trees.

Well, it was one of those things where there was a road just behind the trees,...kind of distracting, so I left it out. If I were able to get up higher that would not be a prob!

Yeah, composition is often dictated by things like that, and within the limits you had, you did very well!

It will be so much nicer if you can make it bw, I don't like too much of the blue shadows.

I really like the color and shadows. for some reason though, the crop on the trees creates tension for me when i look at it. DOF may also have something to do with it.
