shooterman village idiot, actually a genius! ![]() More info | Feb 05, 2009 15:49 | #4 I always shoot tethered. I have a 10 to 12 ft usb cable so I have no issues with mobility. I never use a tripod and don't really see a reason to use one when using strobes. Randy

But it's nice to have if needed and can rely on it, not like the cheapo ones. For how and what I shoot, tripod is not needed and mobility is or at least preferred.
