Do you shoot with a tripod on set? Tethered/untethered shooting.

For those of you who shoot tethered, do you shoot with a tripod? Set up a poll, I'd like to hear some thoughts.

I prefer mobility. I shot tethered once and just became too frustrated with it.
The only time I ever used a tripod was once when I was shooting at 1/50th with a 200mm lens.

recently tethered 90% of the time in the studio...trying to get to use it more often "on location."

tripod....hmmm 70% of the time no tripod; 30% tripod...
or something like that. I tend to use the tripod when I am trying new things with the shutter speed and am looking for crazy effects. It's frustrating (it's slow and clumsy and slows the energy down) but sometimes it's worth it. I find it educational.

I always shoot tethered. I have a 10 to 12 ft usb cable so I have no issues with mobility. I never use a tripod and don't really see a reason to use one when using strobes.

Does wireless count as tethered? Always wireless, and I never use a tripod.

I got suckered into buying a 300 dollar tripod fro 180bucks...I used it 4 times if i used it at all. But it's nice to have if needed and can rely on it, not like the cheapo ones. For how and what I shoot, tripod is not needed and mobility is or at least preferred.
