2009 Palm Beach Supercar Weekend Pictures

I went to the 2009 Palm Beach Supercar Weekend (external link) last month. It was held not too far from where I live on Flagler drive in downtown West Palm Beach.

I used my Canon S5 IS with a 430EX external flash attached for some fill light. I didn't feel too envious of the other photographers with big DSLR cameras when the cars started roaring in and I was able to shoot some video clips. :cool:

Here's a few of my favorite pics from the day.

why use a flash in broad daylight?

You could if it was some sort of fancy strobist style photosession but in this sort of event I dont like it, sorry.

I think flash is usefull even in good light, fills the shadows. Lovely cars... that 599 IS GOD ON WHEELS!
