It has been a while since I have posted here, went through some horrible weather here in the Northwest and combined with a new job, I have been out for a while. But I am back in it now! Here is my recent shoot with the rare Ducati Desmosedici, an $80k street legal MotoGP bike A studio was rented out for the Northwest Ducati club and I photographed five other bikes. I chose just to post this one as of now. Enjoy!

Great work. But i don't like the reflections, too much of them...

There are a fair amt of reflections. I really like the reflection in #5. Pretty sweet. It looks like a catfish from the front.
that is one sexy bike.

I know about the reflections, they were killing me. I did not have access to huge softboxes to cover the entire bike. I wish I would have. But I had to make due with what I had. It definently is a very mean bike.

These look OK. Better would have been if you put the light on some flats instead of directly on the bike.

Love this bike. I think the guy who owns GO4IT Racing here in CO owns one. I cant imagine spending 80k on a bike though! Nice photos though man.

Could you expand on this? I do not know what you mean.

Could you expand on this?

Cars & bikes are curved mirrors &, except for metallic paint, direct light on them doesn't work well.
Direct light means bright, "hot" & blown reflections. I see about 9 in the first shot. Imagine that the sky in this MOVE YOUR FEET! is the walls, or moving flats, in a studio. It's a broad light. Put that sort of light on the studio walls & you get a broader, softer light reflecting in the car.
In #2, the walls here in the driveway could be a flat in the studio:

See the car tips in my Sig, too.

Be nice to get a polariser on there and cut the reflections and give some nice deep reds...
