Experience an dull orange discoloration (horizontally the upper section, sometimes middle section, sometimes lover section) on my photo when I start shooting at shutter speed >1/320 with higher ISO.
Have cleaned the censor and regardless of what lense i used, the problem persisted.

Could it be problem with shutter or censor? Am sending back to Canon tomorrow......sigh......

Any idea what has gone wrong with my baby EOS?

thanks

A sample is really needed to help. Florescent lighting will have that effect.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Try shooting at 1/60 or 1/50 depending on location and see if the problem persists.

Shot the 1st photo at 1/400 F3.5 ISO1600 [kit lense]
Shot the 2nd photo at 1/1000 F1.8 ISO1600 [Canon cheapest lense]

The weird thing is......in the second photo, the colour of the helmet is ok.....Problem of the background colour...

That's the florescent lighting for sure. I'm guessing that all pictures you take outside are just fine.

As to the helmet, it's hard to tell but maybe you were closer to a window and had some ambient lighting?
