Just curious. I have some gear I seek, and some to sell.

why not list them here? I've never had an issue selling items on here. I tried selling on FM before the fee, and it would be a matter of hours before your for sale item was on the 3rd page, out of view

I have a few items that haven't moved here, but I really have a few pieces I am looking for that don't show up here much.

For me, I usually list stuff on FM and on here, and 9 times out of 10 it sells on FM. I start getting inquired from FM usually before I get any bites here. It's definitely been worth it for me, but I've sold quite a bit of stuff.

You can buy off of FM without paying the fee. The fee is only for starting FS or WTB threads.

The only good thing is after 12 hours you can bump it to the top though. Can't do that here.

I went ahead and signed up. It looks like you can get a little more attention there, and there prices seem to bear up quite nicely.

FM has a lot of buyers and a decent feedback system; I also think it is worth it.

I've sold 3 lens's. All were listed here and on FM and all were sold on FM. Although I actually like the forums here better.

Worth it to me. I list my sales both here and there, and I'd say upwards of 80% of my stuff goes first on there.

And their feedback system is top notch.

I wish that the forum updated by the thread instead of by the post. Many posts have sevral replies that keep them near the top while unanswered or un-commented posts move down quickly. This means many sold items stay at the top while unsold items move down.
