Hi all,

Over the weekend, I took some outdoor (and indoor) shots of my friends' newborn son and the rest of the family. The lighting was a little tricky because it was going from sunny to overcast and back again every five minutes. I killed most of the ambient and the majority of these shots are lit with two 580EX IIs with the sun acting as a natural hair/rim light. Hope you like them.

-Mike

3. I took a quick break to get some shots of their cuddly Bassett Hound.

Great set :) I like the doggy's eye. They seem so focused on something :)

Yeah, he was exhausted, so this is him near the end. He'd been crying too, which is why he's so red!

Haha... yep, good eye! He's just like his father. ;) He's also letting me know exactly what he thinks about me flashing him with my strobes over and over!

Treats! :D She sat still (and drooling!) until I took a picture, and then my friend's son would step into frame and give her a treat. She was such a good sport!
