new here on the forum so go easy on me. this was taken last summer in Duc, NC on the sound side with my XTi. I have since upgraded to a 5D with a 28-300.

Great composition, my only complaint is that a faster shutter speed may have frozen the action a bit. Maybe some PP to boost some colors.

Really awesome capture though.

I think that a horizontal composition would have been more compelling. It would have taken the horizon out of the exact center of the image and put more emphasis on the birds counterpositioned with the sun.
