Egon:

Egon again, this time in low light at ISO 5300:

Egon has similar color to Darwin...and the same eye gook. A little photo shop and it can be gone! :D

#2 is our latest rescue... a torti-kitten with a very bent tail: her tail was broken in 3 places and healed before we could trap her, so now it permanently points to the left. I named her Piper Maru, after The X File episode where the black oil alien entered the show. Piper looks like an orange tabby that got rolled in black oil. LoL

#1 is my Kyrnan helping with my birthday presents, from when I turned 40 (this past May).

My 580exII on camera pointed up with a bounce card and Photoshop! Added a vignette, dodged and burnt and desaturated the outside of the photograph using the sponge tool. Sharpened the eyes a touch.

That's great. It's the exact look I am going for. I have a 580exII but I am really struggling to get the right look on ETTL with my 30D.

Just make sure you under expose a tiny bit in camera, then the flash can sort it out, and have the flash on a low power setting. I also make sure it's in high speed synch cause you know how crazy kittens can be. Then RAW editing allows that little bit of control over the exposure...
