lighting is good, soft shadows no burnt highlights. Doesn't look very threatening more like submissive.

Did you actually put the insect on a white background and if so doesn't it want to run off?

yes i did..and yer it does run off/flys off..alot of patience is needed to get the images im after.I think it was worth the time and effort tho:)
