I recently purchased a used Canon 5d, and I'm starting to look at it for the first time. I went to update my firmware, and I noticed there are items missing from my menu, including the firmware option. There are also a bunch of other items missing from the menu. I would like to get the camera back to the factory condition(software). Is that possible? If not, how do I get my menu items back? Thanks.

You're probably in automatic mode. Move to one of the creative modes like Av or M and you should see the full menu

hi,

I am a newbee here and had the same menu problem. After reading the answers, in 2 seconds my probem was solved.

In P-stand, you can see the full menu.

Thank you, guys. Iam totaly new with Canon, so I am setting up now.

I have chosen for seperately which means card 1 full RAW, card 2 JPG. You know what, how do I change from card 1 to card 2 . Really I have no idea.

Sorry for my bad english it is not( my mother tonge.?

Another thing, I want to use Eye-Fi on the JPG files only (card 2) Assistence needed.

Again, thank tyou very much, great answers so far.
cheers,
Garry

Are you starting with used or new camera? Do you have the manual?
