I was not comparing them with todays standards but with the bikes of their day. They weren't call a widow maker for nothing. I have never ridden one, always had British and American, with a Vincent Rapide back in the early 80s.

No idea what the original color was. His had the stock exhaust. Typical low chrome pipes of the day.
