Here is a few pics of my buddy and his 1971 Kawasaki H1-B 500cc triple.

God I love the smell of two-strokes in the morning. ;)

I remember the 500/750s when they came out new. Straight line performance was good but don't expect them to go around corners

Neither does a Vincent Black Shadow by todays standards but i wouldn't object to one in the shed.

I was not comparing them with todays standards but with the bikes of their day. They weren't call a widow maker for nothing. I have never ridden one, always had British and American, with a Vincent Rapide back in the early 80s.

Nice looking Kawi 500 death machine, but have you seen the 4 pot version; no it's not a trick shot; it's real. I still love the smell as well but only if they're on Castrol "R" in fact if one come's past me I'll follow it 'till I get my fix ;)

Excuse the poor quality but I was going through some of my old slides I took about 30 years ago and found this Ducati my father used to race, but my brother now has it.

Nice! My father had one of these. I never got to ride it. Road as a passenger many times though. His was black, but it had been painted. No idea what the original color was. His had the stock exhaust. Typical low chrome pipes of the day. I may have a pic of it somewhere...

Beautiful old Duc... Bevel-drive round case single. 350? If it's still in the family, it would be cool to see some new pics! Does he ride it?

Here is a 4 pot version of a 750 + 250cc. Not mine though. (Sorry for getting a bit off topic)
There is a saying about old super bikes. It goes like this: "The older they are the faster they were" ;)

I should have a whole bunch of triple pics for those interested after the fathers day weekend.
The triples gang is getting together that weekend to raise hell at a vintage motor cycle show in Paris Ontario Canada.
