Hey everyone.

These are a few images from a recent photoshoot around Brisbane that myself and a couple of friends did. It's always good when you have people that want to pose and have photos taken of them. If you want to check out others from the set please head to my flickr page: www.flickr.com/photos/herbe_nelson (external link)

you should post the bbc code instead of the html code

it should look like "

IMAGE NOT FOUND
IMAGE IS A REDIRECT OR MISSING!
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO
"

minus the spaces before and after "IMG"

some great shots I personally would like to see the horizons straightened in many of these I find it distracting. Nice color and lighting though.

did you mean the city background ones? The last image actually is straightened to the surface that they are all standing/sitting on. It is just that I wasn't completely parallel that the lines on the back wall will look slightly off. Can't do too much about that.

Glad you like them

Yes I was specifically referring to the two city backdrop ones as well as the one where they are all jumping in the air as you said the other images appear to be straight on the base it is just the lines in the background which you can not do much about. The one with them all jumping in the air is probably the most distracting to me. I really like the shot but there are several areas that I find a little distracting it appears to not be straight due to the line in the background compared to the foreground it goes up on the left side. Also the person on the far right I might try to do something to help his shoe come forward it is blending in with the white of the Ferris Wheel car. It is also has some hot spots on the person on the far left so that we loose detail. These are really nitpicky things that could just help make them a little better they are good images already. I also looked at your flickr shots some other great shots there too. Thanks for sharing.

hmm ok thanks. This was shot fairly wide so the edges will likely be not straight due to distortion. I get what you are sort of saying with the ferris wheel shot, there are a couple of little things that I could fix, and I might because these are mainly rough first edits. I'll be refining a few in the coming weeks. Can't refine them all :P

With the hot spots issue on the left person, I can't actually see any hot spots. This was a very spur of the moment photo and we didn't have much time. The problem was that behind me are some large metal "awnings" over a paved walkway. The setting sun was shining right through them and created some of the shadows across the frame. Although his shoe seems to blend in a tiny bit, it doesn't seem too similar. Perhaps I'll touch up this one further in the future. Don't mind it too much now though :)

I'll upload the refined version of photos when they are done.

Glad you like the photos.
