I'm ready to buy a 50D but have noticed that the price has changed 3 times in the last 4-5 days. Is this like playing the stock market and how low can I expect it to go? It's gone from 1189 to 1190 and now back to 1181. Not a big change obviously but should I wait to see where it goes?

Well you can get them new off E-bay for about $1050 any time, so I wouldn't worry about it :)

live.com cashback.

Wow..thanks for the tip. I've heard about cashback but really don't know how that works. Is the best way through live.com or ebay?. Isn't there always a 60 day waiting period for the cashback?

Not always a wait, sometimes instant. Go to live.com and read.

Me, too. And that works out to $935 U.S. at today's exchange rate.

I'll be getting mine soon enough. Just need to get my taxes sent off tomorrow. Then a week later I have the cash and I can purchase it. Then again I can always put it on the credit card next week. I'll see.

Is that at Amazon? I have noticed prices change all the time at Amazon, probably at statician playing games.

Well the body+28-135 kit is $100 more than I paid for it about 6 weeks ago (after the rebates expired). Amazon fluctuates like crazy for EVERYTHING.

I wouldn't be suprised if they have some computer algorithm that determins price based on various inputs.

Well, whatever they use just dropped the price down to $1149.00. Down $32.00 from a few hours ago. This is just like watching the Dow Jones Industrials.
