Its time for me to get 2 new lense's. I sold my sigma 70 - 200 f/28 and my sigma 70 - 300 f/4.5. Now im on the look to replace them, but some opinions would help on my choices i have.

I could go the new 1'' Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 II EX DG APO MACRO HSM Lens (external link)'' I had the one before it, is the new one improved much. 2 ''Sigma 120-400mm f/4.5-5.6 DG OS HSM APO Lens (external link)''

Other option i would love is 1 " Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM Lens (external link)'' and '' Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 L USM Lens (non-IS) (external link) ''

Money is a bit tight, the 2 sigma's work out at £599 & £549. The Canon works out at £1079 & £899.

Reason for the 2 lense's is i want one on each body. A 70 - 200 lense would be what i'd be using most but extra reach would be nice for hard to get shots on the track. (Motorsport Photography) My head is baffled between the 2 and i dont want to make a mistake either.

Both Canons outperform the Sigmas so it really comes down to how tight is money.
