I already sold all of my entry-level gear and have bought a 17-55 f/2.8 IS, and soon I am buying a 40d.. :)

What are you all planning on buying or investing in? New glass? Starting up a business? Non-photography related? Or avoiding spending altogether because of the economy?

I'm reminded by a coworker who also works at H&R Block (she *loves* tax season) that not only should you not get a refund, you should actually pay when filing taxes. Otherwise you're giving an interest-free loan to the government.

(I still prefer a refund.)
