Very nice, Stan, the water in the first one really got my attention.

I still like the first image better even with the one flower OOF. Love the color saturation and my eye was drawn to the two flowers with the mirror images in the water - not so much to the flower in front.

Looks like there's a few more getting ready to bloom. Looking forward to more.

Thanks, Sue. Every day there are changes. Unfortunately, due to ongoing drought, the shallows around that lake are quickly drying up.

The colors in the first shot are simply spectacular.

Thanks for the latest comments. I was back there today and took a new shot (new lilies, too) at F11 to keep all in focus. The water reflected the sky pretty well, so I darkened it using levels. See what you think.

Thanks, Win. I should log on to bogley and say "Hi". It's just that I have so little time these days, processing lots of shots and getting ready for travel season. BTW, I expect to be in your neighborhood some time this summer, not sure just when. I'll be in touch and maybe buy you a coffee (or beer).

Very nice and the greater DOF does seems to work well. Great colors and composition; my eyes just want to circulate around the image and soak it all in.
