I'd never tried football before, asked if I could have a go, he liked what I'd done and as no-one else was doing digital at the time, he asked me if I'd do it as a regular thing because there was a huge lack of images for the website. More info | nice shots, well caught.Cant see anything wrong, your on the correct trac.Can i ask what your set up was, like lens and distance from net. Canon 1D MKIV, Canon 1DX , Canon 5DMKIII, Canon 85 1.8 , 400 f2.8L is ,24-70 2.8,L , 70-200 2.8isL ,16-35 f2.8L , 1x4, Sigma 35 1.4, Fuji XT1.

Canon 20-35mm 3.5 to 5.6 I think, set at 20mm, manual focussed on a player stood about three yards from the goal line (substitutes come in very handy at half time). Camera set 6" off the ground about 18" from the rear corner of the net. Hardest thing is the exposure really, the light changed all day so I just chose a setting and left it at that, I think it was f4 at 1/1000. Photographer to Bury Football Club
