because of a sharp downturn in revenue, canon is ready to start production of several L lenses for Nikon Cameras- the 35L, 85L and 200 f/2, as well as the 70-200 f/4 IS. canon press release: http://www.youtube.com​/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0 (external link)

It's actually a good idea. Nikon's dearth of fast glass is a joke. Canon would sell a ton more lenses if they did that. Then I could have my beloved L's on a camera that focuses accurately.
