I'm planning on getting pictures of the Cahaba Lilies this year https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=5753321&postcount=129. Does anyone want to meet up? The way my calendar looks so far for weddings, I'll probably be heading on May 10th or 24th.

What about a Friday or Monday? May 11 or 25 (Monday) or May 15 or May 22. My Saturdays are booked. As are my Sundays.

I'd love to. sundays are best for me followed by a week day. I can't make saturdays. (not that you should schedule around me but thought I'd share)

I can't make a weekday (work 8-5) and every Saturday is booked for a wedding along with a few Sundays. Maybe we will end up breaking this down into two get togethers, one of Sunday? and one during the week.

I would be interested in the Cahaba Lilies. Weekends are good for me. I have to work each weekday.

I will go again this year. I am more than likely only available during the week.

I might be interested in the Lilies. Where is that? I"m "assuming" BBG? I'd guess any time is good for me. The aforementioned dates of May 25 are no good, my youngest's bday party is that day, but otherwise, I'm game.

POP!! My first post to this forum. Just purchased my first dSLR and have had it for a week. I'm from Florence, which is located in the northwest corner of the state. If anyone else is in the area give me a shoutout.

No its not at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. Click the link, read the text, look at the photos. (It obvious from the photos that its not at BBG).

Welcome to POTN and to the Alabama thread. I know exactly where Florence is! What is the buzz around town about our new head coach?

I presume your referring to Terry B. There are high hopes riding on him. We are getting our $100K's worth since, we not only got him but his brother is working for free (FSU is paying his salary). Also, we picked up another NFL coach (forget his name now) that is also working for free (NFL is paying).
I've met him a couple of times at the Sportsman Club luncheons and I get a very favorable impression of him.
Time will tell as to his success, but a big time coach will attract big time players. We're looking to move to Div I in 2012 if we can win a Div II championship.
