In my ongoing search to find the right body for my shooting style, I've owned:

20D
30D (x2)
5D
1DsII
1DIIn

5DII on order.

After having tried all of these different bodies out... I've come to one conclusion. I LOVE portability and IQ.... so as much as the 1D build/AF is amazing .. the weight/size is just too much to carry around everyday. I always thought the IQ on the 5D & 1Ds were the best, so I think after all this, I will enjoy the 5DII.... atleast I hope I will.

:p

Canon has ANOTHER camera coming out with video besides the T1i? Will it ever end?!?!?

Let us know how that T1i shoots, I'm curious.

Ooops, meant the T1i. There are so many it's hard to keep track of. Especially since I've been shooting Canon since A1.

Let us know how that T1i shoots, I'm curious.

There are already a number of video tests and reviews out to look at (external link). :)

Hmmm, lets see.

Film:
Rebel 2000
Elan 7N
EOS3
Elan 7NE

Digital:
300D Rebel
20D
5D (x2)
400D Rebel
40D (x2)
50D (x2)
5D MKII (x2)

That's a little scary. I currently own the Elan 7NE, the 2 5D MKII's, and the 50D and have no desire to change for a while! :)

Canon SLR's I've owned (and still own) :

10D
7NE
10D
5D
5D

1st 10D is now my Infrared SLR

7NE I bought so I could use my Canon lenses and still shoot a number of rolls of film per year. I still have my "old" Minolta X-700 but carrying around two full bags of camera gear was such a pain and I quickly learned the 7NE was a much better camera :)

2nd 10D was a refurb bought for cheap and is now more or less my carry around camera. Quick shots around the house and such. Almost always with me where ever I go.

1st 5D usually has the 24-70L lens on it most of the time ... I think of it as my "serious" shooting camera.

2nd 5D either has the 100-400 on it or I'm swapping lenses to suit. While it could be called a "backup", it is my 2nd focal length "serious" shooting camera as well. (have only had it a couple weeks) It too is a refurb and while it wasn't cheap, I think what it cost was a deal!

OH ... And I am now about half way to a more permenant lens for my 2nd 5D ... that will be the 70-200 f/2.8 L IS :)

2 - 5DMKII's, Powershot SX 150 IS
7D, 5D, IR/5D, 10D, IR/10D, Elan 7NE
17-40 L, 24-70 L, 70-200 f/2.8 L IS, 100-400 L IS,
TS-E 24 f/3.5 L, 28-135 IS (x2), 50 f/1.8, 85 f/1.8 550EX, 430EX

My move to digital was on to a 40D. When that was stolen, I found a 50D.

My film SLR was a Nikon N6006. ::runs and hides::

Rebel G
Elan IIe
Digital Rebel XT
50D

I love the 50D, it is so much closer to how much I loved the Elan IIe in films days.

2x 350D
2x 30D

2x 5D
1D mk II N

Currently D700 and D300. D700 combines the best of the 5D and 1D mk II N so fits my needs well.
