Ive heard there is a way to verify shutter count by looking at the latest raw file taken with the camera. Is this true? How would I go about doing so? I have a 1D Mark IIn Im looking to sell and need to get an estimated shutter count.......Thanks!

Photoshop is not reliable, especially if the camera has been reset.
I don't remember exactly but the shutter count is recorded in the XML schema. To view it, open a CR2 file in Bridge or Photoshop; go to File Info (ALT+CTRL+SHIFT+I), then the Advanced tab and scroll through the options.

Its been a while since I did it so I don't remember the exact procedure...you'd be better off using Cancount or Astrojargon.

Edit: its in the Aux Schema (3rd option on the Advanced tab) look for the Image Number line.
