Rhuanda?...The Congo?...afraid not. Just a small zoo in the UK. I waited and waited for this fella to wander outside from his enclosure on to a nearby man-made island.

Great Set! I love Gorillas, I do some of the photography for howletts and port lympne zoo's in kent and they have a massive collection of gorillas:)

These are great, especially the first one. Whenever I see gorillas (or any ape), I'm just amazed by the hint of life behind their eyes, and how you can just sense the intellengence.

Believe it or not...Blackpool zoo. Since watching 'Gorillas in the mist', my wife became infatuated with them. I presented her a years' sponsorship on this particular gorilla for a birthday present which included a framed certificate, framed photograph and 12 months free pass into the zoo...btw, his name is Kitu. A big thanks for all your comments.
