Hey folks,

I was checking at B&H for the Apollo 28" softbox and found 3(!?) versions of it:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …lo_Mono_Softbox_with.html (external link)

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …lo_Mono_Softbox_with.html (external link)

http://www.bhphotovideo.com …ollo_Speedlight_Set_.html (external link)

These all appear to be the same softbox and the cheapest of the 3 also comes with an umbrella bracket. I spoke to the fine folks and B&H and he seemed a bit confused with it all but seemed to generally confirm it's the same softbox in all three.

Anyone have any reason to believe these aren't all the same? Clearly if they are I'll go with the $120 version rather than the $144 version, but it just seems weird that it's listed 3x on the site all at different prices if it's the same softbox.

Same stuff. I bought the one with the bracket. The bracket isn't too bad either. I use it all the time. I use a Photoflex umbrella adapter for the Apollo though.

I'll be using any of my speedlights with it, my sb28 or my sunpaks. I think it'll work fine for both.

I'd check out this thread for opinions:

Mixed from what I heard. Zach Atris, from On Light workshop loves his, and promotes it quite ab it on his DVD. I've considered getting it multiple times, and just havent actually gotten around to ordering one yet.
