I shot these today... I must admit that I have never shot Motocross before. OMG!! What a different environment! Panning takes an entire new dimension here!!

Shot with my 40D and the 28-135 kit lens.

Here are a couple from the VIRginia International Raceway. It was a great weekend with lots of fantastic racing. A photo gem for all!

This is a technique that validates the saying "Practice makes perfect" the more you do it the better you get and the keeper rate soars. I am still practicing every opportunity I get.

Thanks! I was amazed myself at #3! I did a little crop and added my border/watermark in PS... but its just the way the camera saw it.

Marauder61-Always a fan of your stuff. I love #3, simply because I could see myself left-seat. Oh if I only had the $$$ to be PIC again. Meanwhile, I'll take the free right-seat every now and then, snap the occasional photo, and dream away.
