Nice shot, Geno. Much cleaner subway system than NYC...but, I still like the NYC tunnels. ;)

Geno!

Nice picture, I didn't find it on your Flickr, what aperture and shutter speed did you take this with?

Thanks. Haven't posted it there yet, probably later today.

I love that one Geno.

On another note...I think I am selling the 70-200 and I'm gonna get the brick. I have a 70-300 4-5.6 IS coming my way in the next month or so (free). And since I don't really ever shoot telephoto except on rare occasions such as vacations or zoo trips, I figured I might as well get a better walk around lens.

So my eventual lens line up should be...

17-40 4
24-70 2.8
50 1.8
135 2 (future)
70-300 4-5.6 IS (near future)
300 f4 IS (very far future)
And a 1.4x TC

I don't know why I'm telling you guys this. I guess I'm just bored and want to share my thoughts.

I can tell you that this line up will serve you well

5D
17-40
24-70 (will never sell - again...yup did it once)
Siggy 50 1.4 (on the way)
70-200 2.8 (will never sell)
300 2.8 IS ( I would sleep with this lens if the wife would let me)

Some day soon

35L
50L (again - don't ask)
85L
135L (again - don't ask)
200 L 2.0 (drool)

5dMKIII/grip - 24-105 4.0 IS - 70-200 2.8 IS MKII - 60D/grip - 580 EX II - G9

Thanks, Manish. We actually have people that clean the stations here. Most of our system is elevated but there are some tunnels downtown. Have I posted this here before?

I got out yesterday to do some nature shooting. Unfortunately it was pretty dimly overcast. I got off a few shots with the 5D, though, and here's on from a little foot bridge overlooking a local creek that forms this forest wetland:

Cool...but...

So, just for grins, I spun it into a bit of IR look in Lightroom:

We'll see, when your subway system is as old as the NYC system, how clean it 'really' gets. ;)

And yes, I think you posted that one, a while ago. :) Still cool, though.

Dunno what you have now, but, that's a 'bad' question to ask in this thread. ;)

Depends on what you shoot and what you have. Your wallet probably isn't going to like everything it hears here though. :-)

Brett, I saw that too. Great price, I'd jump on it right now if I had the cash.

^ I wouldn't spend the money on the Canon 50 1.4. Its quite a downfall in the lens lineup in mine, and most opinions. I want the Sigma and most either switched or want to switch. The bokeh in the Canon 50 is awful in every way.

Since there's been talk about lens lineups, I'm going to grab the 85 1.8 in the next month. I love that fact that hardly any one every complains about that lens and its an amazing price.
