Or, did you pass up on the Canon lens rebates?

Or, did you buy a Canon lens that isn't on the rebate list?

(excluding cameras and flashes)

6D, 60D, Various L and non-L Lenses and more gear than I have time to use. ;)

Too bad the 35L isn't on the list.

The only chunk of glass I'm eyeballing right now is the 135mm f/2 and unfortunately, it's not on the list. I did plenty of damage in 2008 though with both a 300 f/2.8 and a "Brick"

Come to think of it, I acutally just paid for them the other day (Bill Me Later) so did I buy them in 2008 or did I buy them just the other day?

I, too, was a bit disappointed the 135L wasn't on the list but it's all good. I ended my prime-only experiment and bought the 24-70L and 70-200 f/2.8 IS (again for both), partially paid for by selling two gold-ring primes.

i was considering the 24-70 to replace my 28-70

but after this stupid price increase with the price being the same even before the rebates..
i might just pass
unless the price goes down before the end of the rebates

I'm watching the price of the 70-200 2.8 IS--would be nice but not at todays prices.

There are a couple stores that still have it in stock at 1500. Amazon for the moment, Beach Camera, and KEH new.
