These are extremely hard to get with my camera body as to get the paintballs, you have to up the ISO enough to maintain a decent shutter speed at a high aperture value. I try that with my camera body, and the picture goes grainy, so I get what I can and leave it be. Also, the balls are traveling at speeds of about 200mph and the spheres are only about .690" in diameter. Crazy hard catching those buggers. -Tim

Photos like my example above are photos of the player where the ball just happened to be in the shot. Anyone can shoot those photos. It takes a lot of skill, or pure luck to get a photo of the ball in focus in fight, as opposed to simply being in the shot.

I appreciate your frustration. But all the posts like that are well within the threads stipulated guidelines of "frozen ball". As I said before the OP should have been more clear. Post YOUR! 'frozen ball' pictures! Its the latest rage! Taken about a year ago.. People might not "get it" but they are following what the OP suggests. Maybe you should make a thread with clearer guidelines to avoid frustration.

Not really because this thread is a spin off of this thread https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=680879which is the type of pictures that should be posted. Danny.

Then it should have had a link from the one it spinned off. Not everyone is going to have read that other thread. I still say the posts are within the stipulated guidelines. It may irritate some people, but I am right.
