Last saturday was the Final round of the WA Drift 2008/2009 Championship series
with the championship all wrapped up already, and some people fixing or rebuilding cars for next season, there werent many entrys.
There was plenty of close Battling though.

Borneo (championship winner, and 1st place on the day) Vs Sam Teanby (2nd place)
this is the final battle to decide 1st and 2nd

yes there was a bikini comp, i didnt get photos of it, for a few reasons
1. i couldnt be bothered walking from the esses around to the pits and back again.
2. the girls were supposed to be on the back of a flatbed truck, but quickly found that high heels and a mesh platform are not really a good idea, so it was done at ground level, and visibility was rather poor due to the crowd.

thanks for the comments,
although that shot of banga was shot with a 300f2.8 +2x TC so i wasnt really in close for it :)

Those shots look great! It's nice to see the drift scene elsewhere.

im a massive fan of drifting, although i have only seen it at the local track.
i would love to go to Japan and the US to watch it one day (along with a load of other stuff on my list of things to do)
