I just wanted to thank all of you guys for the info...great forum!!

Oh yeah, my new Canon 40d just arrived...really excited :lol:!

I just upgraded also. My refurb 40D came in today. I really like it compared to the size of the XTi.

That's strange coming from a guy with 8 L's and 3 DSLR's (two of which are 5D2's...GIMME ONE DAMNIT)

Anyway, congrats, have fun with the 40D, its a very capable camera.

I wish I could upgrade th lens but for now I really dont have the cash for it....I will save some and then might get a 17-55 (that's the one i want, at least)...!

Oh well. i have been thinking about it and reading all the 40D Vs 50D Vs 5D threads. I pretty much know most the ppl who are gonna/buying/bought a 40/50/5D.
