**EDIT BY CDS***

We have a growing number of *Fan clubs revolving around specific bodies.
I thought I'd make a collection of them, so we can find them and keep them organized (merge in new ones etc)

The Master list is here

Feel free to point us to other models or threads that could be merged.

* WARNING: By posting in this or any of the linked threads you are wholly admitting in no uncertain terms that you are a snot nosed, milk drinking, knee biting, curtain climbing unabashed Canon Fanboy who's opinions must be taken with several large grains of kosher salt.

If you are like me then you are very excited about your new toy, so please help me decorate the walls! Voice your thoughts and opinions and make yourself at home!

Here are a few shots a I took today. As you can see Im kinda a bad aim.

You could title the first one "Oh, crap!" and the second, "Look MA! No feet!".

Congrats on your new gear. Can't wait to see what it can do.

i stop visiting this section for a few months and an entirely new camera gets released. How is the video quality on this? I may not have to save up $2500 just for that after all.

Only 160 shots in RAW. I have a 4GB SD in my 40D and can get 267 in RAW and Medium JPG or 313 in RAW only.

Thats weird, I just moved all the files off the card onto my PC and it said it was moving 178 items (3.67 GB) So yah, thats a lot more then the 160 plus the nine RAW photos that where on there. But, I just cleaned the card off and put it back in the camera empty and in the bottom right hand corner it has counter of how many shots I have available shooting RAW files and it says 171 now?!

It will always be an estimate. File size depends on format, ISO(BIG DIF), details in the pic, etc. So, expect to get ~what it says, but just know that the darker it gets, the lower your image count will go if you bump ISO.

Was just getting ready to say that. ISO really screws w/ estimated photo count.

Thanks man and yeah I have. I'll be posting a short video 2moro. 720 @ 30fps is nice and crisp and 1080 is great for static shots.

Loving this little machine. Packs quite a punch :)
