I am looking for Brick and Mortar Shop in Los Angeles for Camera bags that I can touch and feel and shove my gear into. I spent so much time trying to pick a camera and lenses and it seems as if I can find a good bag for it all.

have you tried samys or canoga camera. since you're in SFV.
canoga usually have a promotion on certain brand.
also, you just missed the no sales tax at samy's

Samys does not show any Crumplers on their website, but you may want to call just to be sure.

I've never been to the one in fairfax, which is the biggest...
but I saw a very very small selection of crumpler at pasadena, and they put the crumpler sign on the wall...

You are in SFV...you gotta check out Canoga Camera on Sherman Way. It's got tons of bags. And you are doing the right thing by physically checking out the bag that suits you.

And in case you don't find stuff there...you can take a short drive up to Hooper Camera off Topanga & Devonshire (I think). And even if you still cant find stuff...take the drive up to Bel Air Camera in Westwood.

I wonder how long I have to hang out on POTN before I get as good as Ansel Adams ?

Canoga has 10% off Tamrac and Lowepro bags. Just bought a Tamrac Expedition 6x last week from them. It is a good idea to shop in store. I ordered the Expedition 8x from Canoga with free shipping. When I received it all I could say is "That's a HUGE bag". Fortunately, I'm only 30 minutes from Canoga, dorve down there, brought my equipment so I could try out the different bags and exchanged the 8x for a 6x.

Samy's on Fairfax is the benchmark for camera stories in the greater Los Angeles area. Candyland!

First three Canon 5Ds. Some lights (some really fancy ones too). Some glass (maybe a few too many but who's keeping track?). Some cool stamps on my passport.
