I posted this as a reply to another thread, but I figure I start a new one to get people's opinion.

My camera had a stuck green pixel at the same spot on all my photos. It was hard to find and not visible unless you 100% crop and really look for it. Went online and read about a fix using the camera's built-in manual cleaning technique that fixes this. It worked, stuck pixel gone from stills, but if you do video mode, the stuck pixel is still there but white. You have to go to 10x zoom in video to actually see this. Not sure what to do since I don't really use the video and everything is totally fine with the camera. Even if I did use the video, you can't really see it unless you pixel peep. I read online about people returning their cameras with 1-2 stuck pixels and getting 7 on the replacement. You may have stuck / dead pixels and not even know it. Supposedly Canon allows for .001% of bad pixels go through their quality control. Since everything about the camera is perfect, I will continue to use it and send it in for warranty service before the 1 year mark for cleaning and the stuck sensor pixel issue. What do you guys think? I'm still within the 30 day return period. Should I exchange it and risk seeing more, or keep it and send it in for warranty work at month 11?
Attaching a sample image at 100% crop to show what it looks like. You can see the dot. It appears green on my screen in Aperture. The recommended sensor remapping using the manual cleaning mode works and it no longer appears in my pics.
