70-200. This lens is on my camera the most. Thinking of buying a pro body to increase it's ability and potential. It's not so great on a crop - its too long

50 f/1.8 Mk I for me.

I got a very good, sharp copy for $70 something on ebay. Spent about three weeks looking for one at a good price.

Depending on what you need, the Tamron 17-50 2.8 is a great walk around lens.

The 24-105 is great BUT best bang for buck has to be the17-40 f4. Lightweight, bombproof and super sharp for well under 1k

tj5485, Now would be a great time to mention things like your budget, what you like to shoot, and what type of light you may be shooting it in.

I never, Not once claimed to read your post...

The Cookie crumbles...

The BEST and most valued in my kit is the 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L, and no I am not a pro. Just a dude that likes to shoot indoor sports with some range in low light. A fantastic lens that is well worth the high price. A great value. It is not wasted on me.
